Terms of Service

01 — Who can use Gracely

You must be at least 13 years old to use Gracely. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Gracely only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

02 — What Gracely is — and what it isn't

Gracely is a personal budgeting tool. It helps you organize your own money into virtual envelopes ("buckets") and shows you information such as your safe-to-spend amount based on the data you enter or connect. Gracely is not a financial advisor, bank, lender, or money-transmitter, and it does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. The information Gracely shows is for your own planning and is presented as facts about your current situation — not recommendations, predictions, or guarantees. All financial decisions you make are your own. You are responsible for verifying important information and for your own spending, saving, and budgeting choices.

03 — Your account

Some features require an account, which you create using Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account and for keeping your device secure. You can use much of Gracely without an account; in that case your data stays on your device. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.

04 — Bank connections (optional, US accounts only)

If you choose to link a bank account, Gracely uses Stripe Financial Connections to establish a read-only connection that imports information such as transactions and balances. Gracely cannot move money or initiate payments. Bank connections are currently available for US accounts only. Your use of bank connections is also subject to Stripe's terms and privacy policy and to your own bank's terms. We do our best to import data accurately, but we do not guarantee that imported data is complete, current, or error-free — banks and aggregators can delay, omit, or miscategorize information. Always treat your bank's own records as the source of truth, and review imported data before relying on it. You can disconnect a linked account at any time in the app.

05 — Your content and data

You keep ownership of the budget data and other content you create in Gracely ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service for you (for example, to sync it across your devices). We do not sell Your Content or use it for advertising. See the Privacy Policy for details.

06 — Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent;

• attempt to access accounts or data that aren't yours, or break, probe, or circumvent the Service's security;

• copy, reverse-engineer, resell, or build a competing product from the Service except as allowed by law;

• interfere with or disrupt the Service or the networks it runs on;

• misuse bank connections or attempt to access financial data you are not authorized to access.

07 — License to use the Service

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Gracely for your own personal, non-commercial budgeting. We reserve all rights not expressly granted. The Gracely name, logo, mascot, and app are owned by King's Home Lab LLC and are protected by intellectual-property laws.

08 — Third-party services

Gracely relies on third parties including Apple (Sign in with Apple), Stripe (bank connections), and Supabase (hosting and sync). Your use of those features may be subject to the third party's own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, and their availability is not guaranteed.

09 — Changes to the Service

Gracely is under active development. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may set or change limits, at any time. We may also suspend or discontinue the Service or any part of it.

10 — Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that data (including imported bank data) will be accurate or complete, or that the Service will meet your expectations. You use the Service at your own risk.

11 — Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KING'S HOME LAB LLC AND ITS OWNERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, SAVINGS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE — including any financial decision made using it. TO THE EXTENT LIABILITY CANNOT BE FULLY EXCLUDED, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR US $50. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

12 — Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless King's Home Lab LLC from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

13 — Termination

You may stop using Gracely at any time and delete the app and/or request deletion of your account data (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (for example, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

14 — Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [King's Home Lab LLC's state of formation/operation], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in that state will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

15 — Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new effective date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
